Though I only have 1 baby, I thought this might be a good board to ask for double stroller recommendations. We are sharing a nanny with a family that has a 7-month girl. We are going to purchase a double stroller for the nanny to use with the girls. Anyone have recommendations on side-by-side double strollers?
Baby jogger city mini or Britax bagile are both super great side by side strollers. I haven't tried the joovy x2, but it gets good reviews and is quite a bit less expensive than the city mini or bagile.
City Select! Big accessible basket and I get to decide every time I get it out of the van if I want it to be a single or a double. That is awesome for me.
I have the City Mini Baby Jogger double. I like it. I did an insane amount of research on double strollers. I've come to the conclusion that there just is no *perfect* double stroller. They will all have SOMETHING about them that annoys you. You just have to decide what will annoy you the least, kwim? For me, I knew I couldn't stand something heavy or something that didn't turn easily. The CMBJ is about as light as a double can be, folds easy, and turns on a dime. Those were my big *things*.
Re: Double stroller recommendations?
I have the city select which is a single stroller that can convert to a double, and can be used with one or two car seats.

Since you need a double but when your nanny isn't around (or the second kid) this may be your best option.
This! Although it is a tandem stroller, not SBS.
