Anatomy Scan and OWT Symptoms?

in 2nd Trimester

For those that know the sex of their baby, were your symptoms consistent old wives tales (e.g., girl = craves sweets, have morning sickness, etc.; boys = craves salty, less sickness, etc.)?

I know it is not a science and will totally vary per person, but just curious.

    lol. The wives tales proved opposite for me. I carried low with my first, had the worst morning sickness of anyone I have ever seen in my life, and craved all kinds of stuff, not just sweet. It was a girl :) This time around, I'm having a boy and I'm carrying high, not really having any consistent cravings, and only vomited once a couple weeks ago. Wives tales have about a 50/50 accuracy rate lol

    I have gained a lot and been puffy all over with this baby (my first). Craved salty (aversion to sweets), and was nauseous all the time, but never threw up. I am pregnant with a little girl.

    The latest one I heard is the more acid you have, the more hair they have on their head when born - 20 weeks until I find out!

    Mine pretty much were right-

    No sickness/very very asymptomatic pregnancy, "carrying low" (whatever that means, but people tell me I am), a sex drive- and I am having a boy. Also the chinese thing was right

     The ones that were "wrong"- I have had quite a bit of acne, started with a high heart rate (HR started 178 but came down to the 140's and has stayed there)

    Mine were hit or miss.

    Carrying very low- Boy

    Craving salty/savory-Boy

    Ring over the belly trick- Boy

    Bad morning sickness- Girl

    Awful skin-Girl

    All of my dreams with a healthy baby involved a  baby boy.

    I am having a girl.  

    11/2010 Diagnosed with PCOS 
    10/31/11 M/C at 9 weeks
    1/12/13 DD was born
    4/9/16 DS was born 
    9/17 CP 
    6/23/18 BFP EDD 3/4/19

    I crave sweets, still have morning sickness and HR has always been 150 (hightest 180). 

    This baby is a boy.

    No morning sickness, didn't want to even look at sweets, she didn't "steal my glow" and it's a girl! We were sure before our AS I would be a boy though!

    Not at all!! Excessive morning sickness(still having it) Love sweets, and hot stuff... Ice cream and buffalo wings. Lol. and it is a BOY!!

    and by the way, the chinese birth calander told me this year i would only have a boy if i got prego in January.  I got prego the end of may....

    Oh well, Another little boy for me.

    No, I have Had no cravings, no sickness and I am having a girl! Also I have great skin and am not puffy. She started out with higher heart rates 171, 160, the last couple times have been in the 140s

    My morning sickness was horrible for me, I was nauseous all the time and still am some times but I haven't puked (knock on wood). I have a fear of vomiting so i'm sure I would have but I wore sea bands took zofran did anything not to puke. I craved cheeseburgers, coffee cakes, and ritas ice the first trimester. Now I crave chocolate, cookies, ritas, cheeseburgers, and steak and the biggest thing I crave, that I have to have everyday is rice crispy treats. Mexican or chinese, makes me super sick. My mom was sure I was having a girl but she was wrong it's a boy!!
