I seriously don't remember the hot flashes being this bad the last 2 times on femara, ugh! Anyone care to warn me about the side effects of follistim? Feel free to vent away ladies.

    I didnt have any side effects from follistim except for a bruised belly! :) GL
    Me: 24 DH: 27 12/7/2011- Faint BFP #1- 12/18/2011- early m/c at 5 weeks- CP 1/30/2012- Faint BFP #2- 2/17/2012-early miscarriage at 6 weeks- CP RLP done- 1 copy C77T hetero MTHFR-Slight hypothyroid-normal HSG. 8/2012 and 9/2012 Clomid + TI= BFN 10/2012- follistim 7.5 and IUI #1- BFN (pressured into this IUI) 12/2012-BFP #3- 2 days later started bleeding. 3rd CP. 1/18/2013 BFP #4. Beta #1- 14.7(10dpo) 99.5(13dpo) 263 15(dpo).STICK LITTLE PEANUT- WE LOVE YOU!

    I did Gonal F, which I am pretty sure is very similar to Follistim and also only ended up with bruises!  It was much more kind to me than clomid and femara :)

    Me: 31, PCOS DH: 37, low morph and low counts

    4 medicated TI, 1 IUI+Femara, 1 IUI+GonalF = BFNs
    IVF #1 Lupron/GonalF (Dec 2012)= 30R, 21M, 21F with ICSI, 18 HIP frosties!!!
    FET in August 2013

    I also did follistim and didn't have any hot flashes on it. All I had was the bruised inject sides. I had horrible hot flashes on clomid and femera. Good Luck!

    Dx: PCOS and stage 1 endo
    S/A 19 million, 48 motility, 1 morphology
    6.1 progestrone
    HSG: tubes clear
    clomid 50mg + #1 IUI + trigger 6/9/12 BFN 6/18/12 Clomid 150mg +#2 IUI + trigger: 7/9/2012 BFN 7/18/2012 stage 1: endo removed 8/14/12
    Letrozole 2.5mg+estrogen=cycle cancelled for little to no response
    Follistim 75 (10/15-10/19) follistim 67 (10/20-10/21) cycle cancelled due to over response 9 follies and very thin lining
    ~ IVF #1:BC pills started 10/27~
    ~IVF class schedualed for 11/13~
    ~ Lupron starts Thanksgiving day~
    ~Stims start December 1st~
    ~ER: December 12th ~
    ~ET: December 15th~
    19 R. 12. Fertilized with ICSI, 2 transfered
    only 1 made it to freeze!

    beta #2 12/29/12 (78.9)
    Beta #3 12/31/12 (149)
    Beta #4 1/4/13 (48)
    C/P on 1/4/13 @ 5 weeks and 2 days

    ~14 R, 12 fertilized with ICSI~

    The ONLY fertility med I've had any side effects at all from is horrible provera! GL
    TTC since Aug 2011, RE since May 2012. Dx: PCOS,endo, postprandial hypoglycemia DH: SA 1 - low everything, 2- low everything, 3 - good, but WBC, 4 - lost and/or damaged at lab, 5 - low everything July - Letrozole + TI = BFN Aug - letrozole #2 + TI = BFN Sep - NEW RE!! YAY!!!! Move to IVF w/ICSI - ER on Nov 28 - 34 eggs! 2 day report - 26 successfully fertilized! 13 of 26 frozen at 3 days. 5dt of 2 best remaining eggs! BFP on HPT 6dp5dt Beta #1 10dp5dt-471 Beta #2 13dp5dt - 1250
