How much do you pay babysitter?

I live in Metro Detroit, and I'm wondering what the going rate is these days for a babysitter. What are you paying?

I asked over the summer here and it sounds like the going rate is 10 bucks p/h. I paid 6 dollars p/h not to long ago and the girl who baby sat (12 y/o) was completely excited to get paid that much p/h. I guess it really depends on who/and for what reasons.

$10 per hour when we go out on the weekend. We only have one child. It is more for more kids.
