How is your LO sleeping?
Please include age of child and if they are BF/FF (apparently that makes a difference).
Brought to you by my BF 6.5 week old sleeping 6 hours for the first time (11:15-5:15). I feel great! Although she was on the boob hourly 7 PM - 11PM which sucked. And I woke up to rock hard boobs. Plus I worried she was dead and poked her, which may have caused her to wake up. ETA: After waking at 5:15, she cluster fed until 9:30. WAS NOT WORTH IT. I totally deserved it though for creating this post, lol.
However, normally she has been sleeping a 4 hour stretch at night, up an hour, followed by a 3 hour stretch. I hope the 6+ hours continues (yet I am doubtful). Even though the other way is technically more sleep, the longer stretch is preferable to me.
Re: How is your LO sleeping?
6 days old, BF. She sleeps a lot. Usually early evening she has a wakeful spurt, where she stays awake the whole 2 hours between feedings. She is so alert and sweet during those two hours.
During the day I will let her sleep up to 3 hours before waking her to feed. At night I let her sleep until she wakes up and wants to eat. That is usually 3 to 4 hours

6.5w is about when DS, who was EBF, started sleeping consistently for 6+ hours overnight, so there's hope for you!
DD is 4w old, EBF, and we generally get a 4.5-5 hour stretch (11-3:30/4), up 30ish minutes to eat, and another 3-hour stretch. We've occasionally gotten as much as a 5.5-6 hour stretch, but it's not consistent yet. I'm hopeful that we're moving in that direction, though, now that her reflux is getting under control.
DD1 is sleeping horribly in case you were wondering, waking up multiple times per night. Sigh.
DS is 7 weeks old and is FF.
Some nights are better than others. Last night was horrendous and he was up consistently from about midnight to 6am. Most nights he sleeps 3-4 hours a stretch and will wake up for about an hour to eat.
