What are you doing for Halloween?

We have our last music class, then our town is having trick or treating for stroller kids and preschoolers around lunchtime. We're going to go to that with a friend and her DD, then naptime, then go to DH's work for their Halloween festivities, and then "trick or treat" on our street (just to see the neighbors, mostly). Busy day, but it'll be fun!

What is everyone up to for Halloween?

We had a party today with our playgroup. We have another playgroup event, trick or treating at a park, on Monday afternoon. We are going to a Halloween event at the library on Wednesday morning, and we'll take DD trick or treating (probably just a few houses) on Halloween evening. We are getting a lot of mileage out of our costume this way.

hmm...the way things are going, I am going to say I will NOT be watching baseball (yes...I am a sore loser).

Monday night we are having something at work...all kinds of activities from the sounds of it.

Wednesday afternoon they are having a Halloween parade at daycare. We aren't going to be doing actual TOT'ing. We are both in agreement are will not be doing that until she can speak for herself (including please and thank you....something we see missing with the majority of the TOT'ers we get every year).

I am shocked at how busy DD's Halloween social calendar is. Today we went to the pumpkin patch with a friend (the pony ride was a much bigger hit than I expected!). Tomorrow she has a Halloween party at a friend's house. Wednesday morning we have a little brunch party with one play group and an early dinner party with another play group. After that we will probably trick or treat just on our block to see the neighbors and then get home in time for bed. I am exhausted just writing this out but it should be fun!

On Friday we had a Halloween party at my work including trick or treating for the kids. DD loved it and got really good about putting candy in her bag and taking it out again! Haha. Yesterday was a costume party at her daycare center. Today we're going to bring the kids dressed up to my parents house for fun. Wednesday we'll bring them over to DH's parents'.

We're getting lots of use out of the costumes this year!

Friday night we went to Haunted Hallways at my school. On Wednesday they have a Halloween parade at DC. We will then go to our parents' houses and my gran's house to show them Em's costume. We still haven't decided on trick or treating yet. We'll probably go to a couple houses in our neighborhood, so they can see Em in costume too.

DS was supposed to come to my work tomorrow for a Halloween parade but Hurrincane Sandy ended those plans Sad Hoping the weather clears enough by Wednesday so we can "trick or treat" as in taking him to our immediate neighbors/friends. I don't plan on having him get any candy but our neighborhood is like a big party on Halloween...always a good time!

We are going to my parents' house on Halloween. We will bring LO over in her costume, help pass out candy, and mostly just let her play and visit. We are going to bring her wagon over with us and walk her up and down the street, just to visit with neighbors. My parents' neighborhood is ENORMOUS and they have tons of kids every year, it lasts ALL night long, all the neighbors decorate with lights, fog machines, inflatables, giant spiders crawling up their houses, gigantic spider webs that you can walk through, etc. So ..... It's pretty awesome. Ha. We just set our candy out on the front porch in our neighborhood and go over there b/c it's way more fun!

Dressing up as a cop and DH and B are my prisoners. Will take him to the neighbors in our court to trick or treat and then give out candy at our house!

Wow, I am amazed at all the things you are doing/have done with your LO's! We will TOT in our neighborhood, mainly so our friends can see Caleb. Then we'll sit at home and hand out candy. That is all.

We did Boo at Zoo last weekend and fall festival at church this weekend. On Wednesday, we'll do a little trick or treating ending at my parents. They always have chili, so we'll hang out there for the rest of the evening.

I think we're meeting up with my 12yo niece and letting her and her friends take Audrey around. We just want to go long enough to get a few pics. We'll let my niece keep the candy.

Waterfall- I am also amazed by LO's social calendar. He's only 16 months for goodness sake.

Our Trick or Treat was postponed until Saturday evening, thanks to the storm. So on actual Halloween, my kids will have their costume party and parade at daycare. We did zoo boo last weekend, which was fun, then we'll do ToT in our neighborhood this Saturday.
