should I take her to the er?

Lo has a fever of 100 and I know you should take them if it gets to 100.3. At her Dr. appt today the doctor said she had a double ear infection so that is what is causing it but I'm not sure if I should take her now or give her Tylenol?

Does your pedi [or health insurance] have a nurse line you can call? I'd call first and see what they say, as you may be able to avoid a long trip.

If it were me I would try calling a 24 hour nurse line for the pedi, ins, or hospital first. Then I would go through numerous ways to the to break the fever till morning. Then I would be sure to take then in to my pedi bc he said he wants him back in his office and on a close watch if a fever springs up. That's just what I would do. If you feel the baby needs seen sooner then you should take her in. If she seems ok, alert and its not spiking higher then try a few things at home till the pedi office opens. I am keeping an eye on dex too. : I don't even want to sleep or lay him down, but I know I should. Good luck! Keep us posted!

I decided to just go ahead and go after she projectile vomited and couldn't stop! It freaked me and Dh out! So I decided I better just go in and get it checked out.. I'll keep y'all posted
