SD finally stayed overnight with us

I don't post much anymore, but a quick backstory is that my SD (she is 6), has only stayed overnight at our house once, and that was because BM had to go out of town and grandma wasn't home either (they live with BM's parents) wasn't avail to watch SD. 

This past weekend SD decided that she wanted to stay overnight (BM and DH let SD make all the decisions... I think it is total BS, but it is a battle I will never win), so H picked her up on Saturday morning, and she had so much fun and didn't cry for her Mom once!  I am hoping that this becomes a regular thing, we really did have a fun weekend with her.  At one point our neighbors had a little halloween GTG and someone asked who the girls belonged to (SD and DD), and I said "they are mine", and SD said, yes, but I didn't come from her tummy! lol it was pretty cute how she said it.

    Isn't it crazy how people let little kids run the show, and it's been like that since I met DH almost 4 years ago. It was one of those things where you just have to let it go, and I had to bite my tounge on may ocassions.

    I hope they fix their pov because she is going to be a handful during her teen years!
