RE: Vick's for a cough

I read below the suggestion to put Vick's on LO's feet to help with a cough...Just wondering what kind of Vick's? I read the label and it says not to use on children under 2? do you just use the regular stuff but not as much?

DD has had a cough/stuffy nose for WEEKS and I would like to help her sleep a little bit better, she wakes up coughing about once a night.

Any advice? Thanks!

they make a Vick's rub specifically for babies

My pedi said NOT to use the vicks for babies. You should call your pedi and inquire whether it is ok to use it.

I use a Vapor Bath for LO (Toys R Us has a good one for less $$). Our Pedi recommended it when I mentioned the stuffiness. You put it in the bath and it helps them breath better. Our LO loved it. He was fussy for a while and then we put him in the bath and he was great. We were able to get him to go to sleep after the bath.
