Eastern board and Southern Board Ladies.

Keeping you all in m y thoughts and prayers as we ride this storm out.  I won't have interenet the rest of the day to check in on you ladies.

Dh is home with D and I'm heading there now.  Closing up and staying in doors until the weather improves.

    Im in Boston, the wind is really picking up here!  Our MBTA system is shutitng down at 2 pm today and my office is done at 1 pm ( pretty unheard of!)  Im gonig to enjoy the half day of work and hope for the best!

    sweetpea, did you get your generator? Is it hooked up to your sump pump? We don't have one so everything in our basement is on skids. At least the floor will get a good cleaning. Stick out tongue

    I made it in to work. The state of CT has declared an emergency so we can't leave early and I am here until 7 pm. I am hoping I will be able to drive home then but I will have to see how bad the wind is. They have shut down all the highway but they say nurses will be allowed on them if we show our ID. So far DH says we still have power at home in NY.

    My work let out at noon because of the highway closings. Getting windy here. Light rain too. They are currently saying the worst will start around 9pm. So far we have power. Hoping we don't lose it till tonight and into tomorrow so I don't have to work tomorrow. Over 1100 National Guard troops have been called up. Lots of our friends but so far not DH. Hoping it stays that way.
