cracked nipples...what to do?

not sure what happened...well actually i think last night she latched incorrectly (it hurt like heck)...then today my nipple is soooo sore. there is a red crack in it now. i only nurse from one side (the other shut down in july??).

what can i do to get some relief??? im dying here. it hurts.

Are you using Lansinoh after each time that she breastfeeds? If not, you really should invest in it. It saved me for 13 months worth of breastfeeding!

Do you have soothies? Put them in the fridge- they were my crack those first few weeks

Lansinoh or Gerber Breast Therapy. ?When you're dong BFing, dry it off and let it air out a bt, THEN put it on. Can you pump every other time until it doesn't hurt as much?
