Hello. First post on this board. I have been a lurker for some time since reentering the workforce is inevitable. I am a recent graduate non trafitional and am seeking work in a lab setting. I am concerned, not only about pumping at a new job, but also pumping in a lab setting. I probably won't have a desk or office and will just have to excuse myself to pump. Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated!

Re: any pumping moms work in a lab
No experience with a lab, but my work is all cubicles, no offices with doors. They arranged for me to use a conference room. If the employer has more than a certain number of employees, they must provide a private space for you, and breaks for you to pump. (Although they don't have to pay you for that time - mine did, though)
I wouldn't ask about it until after you get a job offer, but after that, just be clear about what you need.
