I used a blend of 50/50 castor oil and olive oil. You rub a bit on your face and lightly scrub. Then use HOT tap water on a wash cloth and lay it over your face to steam. Then rinse the wash cloth and use more hot water on it to wipe off the oil. It makes your face glow!

I gave it a go for 3 weeks and my skin broke out SO BAD. I was so disappointed. I went back to my regular routine (Cetaphil) and my skin is calming down. I will try it again b/c the ritual part was lovely. I have castor oil, avocado oil, and one other that I"m totally blanking on right now! I went by the blog post on Crunchy Betty.

I tried the same method that the ladies mentioned above. The mixture ratio of castor oil to oilve oil depends on your skin type. More castor oil for oily skin. You can also use different carrier oils (oilve oil, almond oil etc) depending on your skin type. I'd start with a 25% castor oil and olive oil mixture at first, you may not need anything more than that.

I've been using it for about a year. I use 70/30 organic sunflower and castor oil. Rub on and let sit a bit, hot wash cloth rung out and lay over face, breathe and enjoy the steaming, wipe gently, rinse out and drape opposite side over face, steam again then wipe again. I love it!
