Well sort of. I have DS's big present to order but I am waiting for a shipping quote. If it's huge to Canada I am going to ship it to my aunt in CT and my cousin will bring it back when she comes home for the holidays. We went to pick up DD's last present last night, had a good look around BRU and found a couple presents for DS from us. We got him Chuck the Truck, it's the one you race and play tag with. It's hilarious and we got him a 5 in 1 ball game thing. He will love both. His big present though we are excited about.
I was thinking about what DS really likes. My problem is that while I know he really won't care about Christmas that much this year there are a lot of kids going to be here who are going to ask why DS didn't get as much from Santa. Then I had a brain wave. At the gym there is this slide:
When I am at the gym DS spends almost the whole time climbing up and down this thing. I thought "How expensive could that be?" Turns out, really expensive. I called the company up to ask them what I should get for at home and to keep in mind spending $1200 on a present for an almost 15 month old is not an option. She said the one I was looking at is more for gyms because it's bigger than you think. She said the one she suggests for home is smaller, cheaper and you can keep adding to it as time goes by and the kids get bigger.
I am excited about it. I really am.
Re: We have done it. We have finished shopping for the kids for Christmas...
Wow. I am amazed!
We have "talked" about Christmas a handful of times (meaning: I have told DH what we need to get for E for Christmas and asked if he was in agreement.) I have bought one present for E that I found at Costco. The Little People Zoo thingy.
