Feeling Pessimistic

This is my 6th pregnancy and I only have 2 kids.  I just turned 40 and I'm 4 weeks pregnant.  I had a miscarriage between my 2 kids and 2 since and I just have this overwheliming feeling like "So what if I'm pregnant.... I'm gonna miscarry anyway".  I can't help it.  My last miscarriage was in May of this year and it was a blighted ovum.  I just feel like I'm too old.  I've had 3 miscarriages for goodness sake!  My oldest son is 18 (born in 1994).... then I had a miscarriage in 2007 (divine intervention).... my 2-year-old was born in 2010 (born at 28 weeks.... pre-ecclampsia).... I had a miscarriage in early 2011.... and I had the last miscarriage in May 2012.  I guess I should be thankful that I even GOT pregnant since I just had my hormone levels checked last month and my FSH levels were alarmingly low.  My OB said that most people with FSH levels that low need to seek fertility treatment help.  Anyway..... I just can't help feel very negative.

    I know how you feel! I'm currently pg. Its my 4th pregnancy and I have no children. I'm going to the dr on Friday and I'm just waiting for bad news :( 

    Dont give up hope!

    I'm pretty much in the same position as you are.  I just found out I am pregnant...tomorrow I'll be 5 weeks.  I had a miscarriage in February; my first pregnancy (before DS) also ended in miscarriage.  I'm so afraid to be excited because of all the uncertainty....like here we go again.  I feel like I just cant bear the thought of another loss.  I'm not even rushing to the doctor like I did the other three times...what's the point?  Might as well wait a bit.   I really want to be positive, but it's just so hard.  Fingers crossed that we both have happy, healthy pregnancies this time around!

    Hey girls..I think I'm a little over 4 weeks...I got an early BFP.....I'm going to the dr on Friday...I would never wish this fear on anyone....
