I'm not sure how many of you are on the east coast...but we're bracing for what could be a nasty little storm. The storm is still SW of Cape Hatteras, NC and we're getting wind and it's been raining since last night. The storm isn't expected to come by us until at least tonight

Worst part is DH is supposed to be off today and they're letting him come home for a few hrs, but then he has to go back. I'm glad I at least I get to see him for a while today, but I wish he was on 4 day break so he didn't have to work

Anyhoo...hope all of you in Sandy's path are safe and prepared!

Re: I think we need an ark...
We're just outside Philly on the NJ side. "Ominous" seems like a good word to describe what it looks like here right now, Sunday morning. We're not due for much until tomorrow, but things aren't looking too good. They have mandatory evacuations set for 4 pm for the casinos in Atlantic City. That's something they've only done 3 times (including today) in the past 20 years!!
We're going on w/life as usual until tonight. We're attempting to go to the zoo for their Boo at the Zoo trick or treating party since I'm scared Halloween might be rained out.
We're as prepared as we can be and hoping for the best! It's windy here and sprinkling on and off, but we're looking at the worst to come tomorrow and Tuesday. The high tide Monday night and full moon will be the true test of flooding in my community. Best wishes to everyone who is being affected by this storm!
I'm from south jersey, and the full moon is definitely gonna cause problems in a lot of areas. High tide around here can get pretty nasty, added with huge storms, it's likely to be pretty awful.
