The nap/pajama most made me curious. Several folks said you have days when you stay in and I'm looking for ideas. N has toys but not a huge play space (basically our living room) and books and we play upstairs or downstairs but I feel like after a couple hours we're bored a bit. Hence all the trips to the playground, library, indoor play space. I'd love to be more creative and am curious what other folks do.
I bought washable markers, newsprint, and finger paints but she still seems a bit young for those. We dance, play piano -- I run out of ideas fast. She'll play with tupper wares or clean laundry too.
Re: Indoor play ideas
We run kids to and fro, then grocery/target and that eats up so much of our days
My LO would kill for a day like yours has... not boring at all!! Tons of fun, he would think!
Sorry I'm no help with the other activities. I just wanted to tell you I think it sounds like you're doing great!
We don't leave the house often. Only if I abosolutly needs to go to the grocery store.
Anyway, we have tons of toys in our LR which is her play space. We have a tunnel and the FP house, along with a rocking cow and the stride to ride puppy. FP activity table and bright starts activity table and tons of books and small toys.
She tends to run amuck in the LR and play with everything. Including emptying out her toy bin!
She isn't bored ever lol.

We go out most day, but occasionally have an in day when we all need it. We have a lot of dance parties - both to set music and we make our own with makeshift drums and shakers, we have tea parties and cook in their little kitchen, we do art - Kai gets something a little more ccomplicated while Halle is usually just stripped down and fingerprints on her tray with yogurt with a little food coloring, lots of playing with toys, in the kitchen cupboards, and in the bedroom (we make forts, jump on the bed, etc)
We stay a lot. I feel like every time I leave the house it's to spend money, so I try to stay in as much as possible.
One of my favorite things to do is on nice days I take a big old blanket and spread it in the yard and she'll play outside and I can lay there and play with her or just relax a little. Sometimes we'll bring lunch/snack out with us. Unless it's a rainy day, I try to have a little outside time each day. Even if it's just sitting in the front lawn for a few minutes after getting the mail.
She "helps" me fold laundry and diapers and do chores around the house.
She loves to play in the pantry and cabinets while I''m in the kitchen. She also has some magnets down where she can play with them. I feel like having her in the kitchen with me while I cook is a great opportunity for learning.
Mainly she has free run of the house and she crawls around and explores and plays.
I keep alternating the toys and she loves that. Totally catches her eye when she discovers a new toy.
