So I really didn't think I had a ton of milk stashed away in the freezer, but apparently my husband does. I have 115 ounces frozen and my son is 5 months old. I told my husband that I would use it if I got sick or something. But he still kinda give me a bad time about it. It's not like I'm hoarding it or something. haha So wondering.....how much do you have in the freezer?

Re: ? for BF moms
I've got about 20 oz. I'm not going back to work until the end of April though.
Almost nothing... Right now I'm a SAHM and I have enough for a few emergency feedings. DH and I never really get to go out, so it's not like I need a lot for that yet + I can always pump right before for a feeding or two. I'll hopefully eventually go back to work at some point, and I'm hoping to pump more then. I know I should be pumping and prepping for that, but as soon as I get a job we'll also end up moving, so it might be tough to transfer a giant stash...
On top of it, living with my parents also means a constantly overflowing fridge/freezer, and I don't feel comfortable adding a lot more to it.
150-200 oz maybe. I pumped and saved every day on Mat. leave.
I think I was just totally paranoid that at some point I wouldn't be able to keep up, and having a stash felt good.
Now I have no idea what I'll do with it. I've used MAYBE 15 oz. I thought I would quit BFing before one year and just give her the frozen, but now I love BFing so much that I want to go past a year. By that point it'll start expiring. I could rotate it in during the 3 days a week that I work but that sounds like too much effort lol.
ETA: We own a deep freezer. My husband bought 1/8 of a cow last month. We had to get rid of everything else in the freezer... so now it's filled to the brim with beef and breastmilk.
I have one bag, so 4 oz LOL
I don't see the need for us. I only work 3 times a week and I take him to work with me. We haven't spent more than 2 hours apart since he was born.

I don't even know how much I have. I actually stopped keeping track. I was pumping regularly for a while and then I stopped because I had a bunch. But in Jan. I am going to be starting full time Nursing classes so I am going to start trying to up my supply again and increase my frozen stash because I worry that I might not be able to pump that often while in school and I really want DS on BM until at least a year.
That being said I have about 1/3-1/2 of a 4.2 CU foot chest freezer full of BM. Well over 400 oz.
