My LO had a cold about 10 days ago (her first), and while the cold seems to have disappeared, the cough has lingered about much longer. It's a very dry cough, though it does feel like there could be some "gunk" still in her chest. The doctor (about 7 days ago) said her lungs were clear, which was good. We have the humidifier going and have put a little Vick's on her chest. Any mom's out there with ideas on how we could help her out? I know these things need to run their course, but she's waking herself up with her coughing fits and I just feel so bad for her. TIA!
Re: LO's cough - any suggestions to help?
Use your shower to get your bathroom nice and steamy then take LO in there for a few minutes before bed. Same affect as the humidifier just stronger.
