Olivia, sadly. It's a beautiful name that I would have maybe liked to use, but the popularity of the name around here right now is crazy! I see Olivias popping up everywhere.
Also, I agree with Ava being one of those names.

I'd say Isabella. Partially because of it's popularity, but also because a lot of Jennifers (including myself) go by a nickname (Jen, Jenny/Jenni/Jennie/etc). I think a lot of Isabellas go by Bella, but some probably go by Izzy or something.
I do think Sophia and Olivia are good comparisons too. I see those everywhere!
Madison or Isabella around my way. I think it depends on where you are. We have a ton of Emma's and Olivia's as well. So all of those would be the Jennifer, Jessica, Heather and Kristen of our youth.

The SSA used to give you the option of seeing how many babies were given each name, and what the percentage of total babies born that year that number was. So I agree with Ava, Sophia, Emma and Olivia as far as ranking, the percentage of Jennifers at its peak was much higher than the percentage of Sophias at its peak.

Re: what is the "jennifer" of today in your opinion?
Also, I agree with Ava being one of those names.
Yep!
Emma.
I guess that would make Emma Grace the Jennifer Lynn (or Marie)? lol

Your MIL might be on to something. Naming your child Jennifer would be totally unique nowadays!

Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
My dad chose to name me Jennifer because it was popular back then. Way to follow the crowd.
I'd say Sophia, Isabella, and Mia are popular. I only know of one Ava and she's.
ezra everyday
I don't know any Jennifer's
but IMO Olivia seems the most popular girl name now
This. I have so many Addy's and Maddie's in my life!
