What are you doing today?
We bought tickets to take G on the Halloween haunted train in Stanley Park. It is pouring so I'm not super looking forward to it.
But my parents are taking him tonight so my husband and I are going out for dinner and a movie, hooray!

Later I will gather supplies for the Pinterest party tomorrow. I'm super excited for crafting time with adults. My SIL is a genius for creating this party.
Oh and SO felt the need to add on top to bottom housecleaning for me to do, while he attends a MLS game. D bag.

DH went into work today, so just another day for me. I'm thinking about either carving the pumpkin today or doing this craft project for the Grandparents. I guess I could go to the Dollar Store for the pot holders
I also want to do this, but I don't know what type of paint to use, or what type of dish to use. Unglazed? There aren't any directions if you click on the pinterest link

The guests pick a craft that they pinned on Pinterest and bring the materials to the host's home. The host also picked a few popular craft pins and gave the guests a choice on what they want to do. The host is providing the materials for those crafts. All the food and drinks are also pins from Pinterest.
I finally can do at least one craft that I pinned. Yay!
This sounds like so much fun!! Can I come?

Oh, it isn't my birthday but thank you!
The train was a success and it stopped raining long enough for me to go to the dog park with Jimmy. Next I need to go buy a new pillow (exciting) and possibly exchange some pants I bought yesterday.
So far I've spent the entire day running errands.
First I met up with a friend at Target so we could get coordinated running outfits for next weekend's Color Run.
Then LBB and I stopped at the bookstore to pick up a couple copies of my friend's latest book that came out this week.
Then a trip to the costume store to get boot covers for DH's costume tonight.
Then we went to BabyGap to do some return/exchanges for clothes LBB got as gifts.
DH met us for lunch and we just got home..
I should start getting ready for our Halloween party tonight, but really, my costume is the easy one!
I was able to get groceries we needed this morning which was great since I'm sure the grocery stores will be nuts tomorrow. We are in Pittsburgh, so they think we'll catch some of the bad weather.
Cleaned the first floor tonight and just put E to bed.
The big thing today was that Edison had several foods with dairy including yogart bites and a piece of bagel with butter, so if he has a decent night we are making progress. I can't wait to stop buying nutramigin.
Today we went for a ride to go visit my cousin's new business (an indoor bounce-house company) for their grand opening, then wandered around the mall for a bit, had Chinese food for lunch, went to go visit a friend and her family, including her new baby born on Tuesday night, but when we got close they said that momma and baby were napping, so we rode around looking for house lots to buy, found a friend out raking leaves for his daughter to jump in, so we dropped by and hung out with them for a few minutes, Layla got her first experience jumping in the leaves... then went to visit another friend.
Tomorrow will be consumed with church, then homework. Joy. then going to see said baby
I will be working all weekend. Awesome. I work some back to back shifts then have to stay at the hotel in case the storm is actually that bad. I'm also in charge of trying to get teams and emergency plans together since my manager is off the next few days. I should get a raise. Can't afford to miss any days. I'm anxious about the potential of not seeing DH or LO for a couple days.
On a lighter note, we have a guest here is a weather spotter for Hurricane Center. It's not big at all anymore. It's already made landfall, winds are at 35mph and so far it's not going to be nearly as bad as we all thought. There will still be rain adn wind, but it looks like it will only be bad Monday and then we will just have to deal with the power outages. We only have to slightly worry about the snowstorm at the end of the week.
I just might sleep tonight, since he gave me that news. I have been so anxious the last few days!
As for us J started our day early at 6am, it's Saturday damn it. We headed up to Lake Arrowhead to get some fresh mountain air and lunch. Then went to our friends house and hung out for a few hours. Got Chinese take out and now I'm relaxing.
