I posted awhile back about maybe cutting my hair. It was down to the middle of my back. Got it cut yesterday and now it's to my shoulders. I love it so far. No regrets yet!
Did anyone else go through with it? I know some other ladies were considering cutting their long hair.
I bet my LO will still manage to pull it though!
Re: Got my hair chopped off!
Don't you love how you feel after a good hair cut?
Mine sits at my shoulders, maybe a little past, and LO is a pro and yanking it. Especially when I'm going to lay him on the changing pad. I wear my hair up now mostly and I didn't realize how much until I went to one of the football games a few weeks ago and my kids kept asking if I did something different and finally one of them said, "Oh! Your hair is down! I don't think I've seen your hair down since last year.." THAT made me realize that I probably hadn't left it down in a long time. I wore it up all through my pregnancy because I was constantly throwing up and I wear it up all the time now because of LO...
So, I'm making an effort to leave it down. It would help if it wasn't falling out like crazy. Maybe a trim would help.
Good for you, Jessie! I wussed out and only got two inches off yesterday, but for me that's a big deal.
Hope you have a great Baptism Weekend!:)
I have been tempted to do it. I was gifted two certificates to a salon and spa. I haven't used either yet. I've been thinking of a shorter hair cut and red dye.
If I were honest, I'll probably stay with my long hair. Good on you for trying something new. I'm attached to my long hair for some reason. Anyone have any suggestions for a more modern long hair cut? I've been looking for some new ideas. I'd like a hair cut with a little edge, but not too crazy.
I have dirty blonde hair right now. I've always wanted to dye my hair a red color, but thought I'd wait for grey to come in first. It's tough to describe the red color I want. I don't want goth/vampire red, orange red, or Ronald McDonald red.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to it. :]
My H prefers long hair too. I was suprised that he actually liked my haircut.. At least that's what he told me!
Wow! That's awesome : ) How thick is your hair? I would love to do something shorter than shoulder length, but my hair is thick & wavy and I'm afraid it'd look like a mushroom if I did a short bob.
I have medium -thick hair. I have a little bit of natural curl but not enough to look cute so I tend to straighten it each day. It only takes about 20 min and gives it a finished look.
Like seunrine - I grew mine through pgcy as well and then donated it to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program! I cut about 12 inches off and now have a cute shaggy cut that's real short up the back and about chin length in the front. Love it and love that my hair went to a great cause!
I have thick curly hair so it looks great (and big/full of body) when it's curly and really finished/stylish when it's ironed out! No mushroom!
I chopped mine off about 4 weeks PP. I needed a change, and I'm so glad I did it. I have a a-line bob with bangs now. I've had lots of compliments on it and have heard people say "I want to get my hair cut likes hers". Lol! I saw it's my new "mom look".
Despite the short hair, DS still likes to grab and pull what he can reach!
