I've heard conflicting opinions on this (from Drs. as well) Does teething cause issues with runny noses?
DS is constantly chewing on his hands and anything else he can get into his mouth and has a slight runny nose that we can't quite get rid of. LPN at his Ped. office said it could be connected, yet I've heard mom's say no.
Any thoughts, advice, suggestions?
Re: teething and runny noses
My mom told me that the way her dr explained it to her was that crying causes mucus and where there is mucus, bacteria grows.
I think LO is teething now and he rolls onto his belly when he is sleeping so the poor guy literally has a pool of saliva/snot in his crib... I feel so bad.
