So I saw in FFFC that a lot of us are excited to watch some of the old animated Disney movies with our LOs.  What other movies are you excited to share with them?

I can't wait to watch Hocus Pocus around Halloween time, and there's this old animated version of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe that I was obsessed with when I was younger.  And then the movie that inspired this post...Hook was on tv this morning and I got sooo excited!

Anyone else?

    Bambi! That was the first movie I saw in a theater and I actually remember watching it there. Even though it is super sad with the mom dying :( I hate parts like that. My next favorite would be Lion King ( but again super sad about the dad dying!!!) I think if I saw it now I might even cry

    Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite Disney movie (and has a bit of a different message than the other "princess" movies), followed closely by The Lion King.  I can't wait to watch those with her, along with The Goonies and ET :)

    ETA-it's newer, but I also love Enchanted and since the first time I saw it said that if I ever had a daughter I would love to introduce her to it!

    Oooh me too!  Along those same lines another good one is the Sandlot.  (Same lines of course because I had major crushes on some of the characters :)

    My friends and I were obsessed w The Sandlot in jr high!  We also had crushes ;)  We have a home video of all of us at a slumber party one year watching it!

    Beauty and the Beast is my favorite.

    Earlier this year when it came to theaters in 3D I went to see it with a friend and there was a mom there with her daughter who was dressed up as Belle. I can't wait until Geege is that age.

    Cinderella is one of my faves too, I got it on dvd for Christmas a few years back.

     I also can't wait to watch My Fair Lady and Annie with her. I love to sing at the top of my lungs to them and I really hope she joins in.

    Star Wars in the correct order 4,5,6,1,2,3.
    We already watch Lion King, Mulan, Card, Finding Nemo, and Monsters Inc.
    Apparently he is going to be into The Fast and Furious movies. He's totally sucked into Tokyo Drift at the moment.
