How long have you been on March 2012 (posting or lurking)? I came back to The Bump when DD2 was born and was in the FB groups, too. I used to be active on TB when I was pregnant with DS but couldn't remember what e-mail I used so when I came back I had to start new!
What do you do (work-wise)? Right now I'm a SAHM and I teach fitness classes at a local gym a few times a week. Prior to having kids I worked in radio.
Do you have any other children? How many do you want to have? We also have an almost 3-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter we adopted a little over a year ago after she had come to us as a foster child. We plan on having at least one more.
What do you like to do when you get a moment off from taking care of LO? If DH and I both get a break we like to go out to eat and either see a movie or just hang out talking somewhere. If it's myself I love to just be able to go to do my errands alone without having to take kids in and out of car seats!

Favourite TV show Of all time, Friends. Currently on air, Dancing with the Stars and The Big Bang Theory.
Celeb Crush Hmm...I really can't think of one off hand right now. Used to be Josh Duhamel but I haven't seen much of him lately.
Dream job I always say in my next life I want to be a Broadway performer. It's unrealistic for this life, though.
What is the first thing you recall when you think about your birthing experience? How quickly she came. She was born about 15 minutes after we got to the hospital.
What is your favourite and least favourite thing about this board? I always think it's helpful to be able to seek information from people whose kids are going through the same stages. I wish it was livelier, though. I know everyone is on FB. I spend a lot of time lurking on other boards like Parenting for some entertainment.

From California. I live about 45 mi from where I grew up.

Since my BFP! I was so excited to get to move to a BMB!

Ecologist for a consulting firm.

What is the first thing you recall when you think about your birthing experience?
The calm between contractions. I was so proud of myself for being able to relax and that I did it without pain meds.
What is your favourite and least favourite thing about this board?
The sense of community we share having LOs around the same age; wish some of the people I knew from TTGP were still around.
Where are you from? Where do you live now? The Midwest. Currently not in the midwest but trying very hard to get back!
How long have you been on March 2012 (posting or lurking)? Since October of last year. I didn't post often at first but that was becasue I had just started a new job so I was busy.
What do you do (work-wise)? Volunteer Coordinator for Local Non Profit
Do you have any other children? How many do you want to have? No. I'd like to have one or two more.
What do you like to do when you get a moment off from taking care of LO? That doesn't really happen unless I'm at work then it's not really time to myself.

Last movie you saw- In the theater? I can't recall. We order a ton of netflix movies though!
Favourite TV show- No cable...Although I will stream House MD
Celeb Crush-Meh...they are all pretty much the same. I like Johnny Depp though.

What is the first thing you recall when you think about your birthing experience? Getting to hold our LO
What is your favourite and least favourite thing about this board? I like the pace of the board. I like that there are not a ton of people here. I don't like drama....I don't find drama that thrilling.

Do you have any other children? How many do you want to have? Nope, A is my first. I wanted to have 4, but now I'm not so sure.

Dream job: Probably an author or someone who gets paid to write vacation guides.
What is the first thing you recall when you think about your birthing experience? How much pain I was in from pitocin. My body was forcing me to push and I was only at 2 cm. I had to get the epi to relax that or the doctors were afraid I'd tear my cervix.
What is your favourite and least favourite thing about this board? Favorite probably would be the ladies I've met. Least favorite is probably when people post asking for medical advice. I don't know. Call your doctor or a medical helpline.

I grade papers, though it isn't that fun. I get a pedicure about once a month.

What is the first thing you recall when you think about your birthing experience?
It's all fuzzy for me - my water broke early and I ended up getting a fever from an infection. I ended up having an emergency c-section, but I was so exhausted from the previous 26 hours that I was barely conscious when my husband brought our son over to me.
What is your favourite and least favourite thing about this board?
Fave - how supportive everyone is of each other. Don't have a least favorite.

Joined the bump and March 2012 right after getting a positive test. I was Wifey1012, but changed my name after he was born.
I work from home. DS is my first and I am 21 weeks pregnant with our daughter.
I am almost always with DS unless I am grocery shopping or something boring like that! A nice dinner or lunch is nice with DH when we have a sitter.
Haven't been to the movies in forever, and I always fall asleep when we watch them at home. The last one I fell asleep through was Hocus Pocus.
Favorite shows right now are Dexter and Homeland.
My favorite thing about this board is that DS was born on the 30th so many of your LOs are going through things first and I get to read all the posts before DS gets there. Much help!
Least favorite would be that everyone abandoned ship! I don't post too often anymore bc I'm usually bumping from my phone and it's a pain.

What is the first thing you recall when you think about your birthing experience? Very scary! Nicholas had the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck FOUR times.
What is your favourite and least favourite thing about this board? I love how it makes me feel normal. It seems like everytime I have a question or concern someone else has read my mind. It's great for FTMs!!
