LO's First Overnight

So the IL's are taking little one for his first overnight. I am so nervous to drop him off. I also might cry! I have been storing up breast milk so they have plenty for the night and the morning. Then after we pick him up we will be taking him to the pumpkin patch!! I trust my MIL, she was a nurse and has raised two kids of her own but... I'm still nervous.

Mommy and Daddy could use a good night of sleep! Let's just hope I don't end up awake with worry!!

Re: LO's First Overnight

  • My bfs parents have been begging us to let him come stay the night for a week now. As much as I want the sleep I am just too nervous. His parents have owned their own daycare for 20+ years and raised two kids but I just cant bring myself to let him go!

  • You're brave!  My DS is 21m old, and we've still never left him overnight with anyone else, and don't plan to for a while.

  • My parents watched LO last night. We were nervous, but he did great and we got some much needed rest.

     Enjoy your evening!

  • Wow! Have fun! DH and I didn't leave DS for an overnight until 13 months and that was with my parents. Sounds like your LO will be in great hands.
