Reaction to flu shot

Little man had his flu shot on the 24. He reacted a bit to it the day of the shot. He was fine yesterday but now has a bad cough and a fever. I'm taking him to the doc in the morning but was wondering if any other LO's reacted to the flu shot after more than two days.

L didn't get sick after his first shot. But he had the second today and is a bit of a beast but that maybe teething related.

Not my LO, but my niece apparently reacted this way a day or two later. She was fine, but I'd still take your LO to the doctor like you're planning to! It could just be a coincidence. It's that time of year :-/ Hope he'll be okay!

I hope your LO gets better soon! My DD didn't have a reaction from hers. However she acted like the leg she got it in hurt longer than it normally does with other shots. Also she had a red ring develop around the shot spot for about 4 days. Good luck at the doctors!

DS hasn't had his yet (his pedi hasn't had any afternoon appointments.. don't get me started..) but I remember someone posting that their LO was sick for a couple of days after. I cannot, for the life of me, remember who though! I'll see if I can find the post. Hope he feels better soon!
