We're being shown today for a baby due in November. This is the 10th time we've been shown in the last 2 months. I always get a little nervous, but for some reason, I'm a total wreck right now. I can't sleep, my stomach is in knots. I know I should not get all worked up, but my mind keeps wandering to things like how to we manage events that we already have with getting to the birth with finding an extended stay hotel in the city of birth with getting home for Thanksgiving with names with everything else.
OMG - somebody please talk me off the ledge. This is nuts and I can't allow myself to get so worked up before match is made.
Re: Profile being shown today and I'm a wreck
TTC since March 2010, BFP #1 11.09.10, ectopic, m/c 12.14.10 (10w)
Clomid + TI=BFN, IUIs 1-6= BFN
Application for domestic adoption submitted 4/18/12, matched 8/12/12, DD born 10/31/12
OMG that is exciting news!!! I'm sorry you are so anxious but I know it will go ok. There is nothing you can do to make the outcome better OR WORSE! You have done everything, your ducks are in a row, you have made your profile as honest, complete, and inviting as you can. If this EM/EP for whatever reason doesn't feel a pull to you, it will be their loss.
Good Luck today!! Thinking of you!
6 medicated cycles, 2 pregnancies, 1 ectopic April 2011, Early Miscarriage August 2011
7 more cycles, 1 IUI, No success after last pregnancy
7/1/2012 No more fertility coverage
8/17/2012 started pursuing domestic infant adoption!
11/26/2012 HOME STUDY APPROVED!!!
When relaxing didn't work is my new blog!
Yikes I would be nervous too! Take a deep breath, as PP said worrying won't change the outcome positively or negatively. If you are chosen everything will work out, life is messy and some things might need to be shuffled but it will be so worth it.
Keep us updated!!

I know just how you feel! It gets better. I know that going through this process has helped teach me patience, which I will need to be a good mom! Good luck!
This might help ease your mind a little.
I read that most Ronald McDonald Houses will take parents of pending adoptions for very low cost living if they have room. I would just give them a call and explain the situation.
Of course you'll need to wait until the match is official. Hoping it goes that way for you!
