Be Honest (baby book)

Now that (most of us) have a one-year-old, who is caught up on their baby books? Anyone?? I haven't worked on G's since probably month three. My only saving grace is I *have* kept up on a Mother's journal where you just write two or three sentences a day, so I can go back through that and know I will pick up all the key stuff. Still - I had high hopes I would do so much better!

We don't have a baby book for either kid. As far as I'm concerned, they're just clutter. We take a lot of pictures, and that's good for me.

I am in the same boat as you. I keep a list on my phone of milestones with dates so that I can go and enter them but I haven't opened the baby book in at least 9 months.

I made a photobook for 0-6 months, but I haven't started working on 6-12 months yet. I don't have an 'official" baby book though

I have one for E's first year, but it was already set-up for me at my shower. If I had to do one from scratch, I would never complete it.

I'm caught up-ish but I just pick one night a month to do everything. I haven't done anything for her one year milestones, party, etc. because I'm going to her one year pedi appointment this weekend and I'll just put in everything after that.

And to really get nerd points, I've also kept a journal for her since I was about six weeks pregnant.

There is no way I could have the energy to do this if I had a second LO, though.

I tend to update quarterly, but I haven't actually glued any of the photos down, they are just stuck in the correct month pages.

. Also, all the pictures are uploaded to an online album but nothing is printed.

Bwahahaha... I was thinking "I'll get to that after I finish my wedding album!" We just had our 5th anniversary. Awesome.

Oh yeah, I totally haven't put my wedding album together. It was going to be my maternity leave project. It was also going to be my gift to myself for my first, second, third and fourth anniversary. We just had our fifth and I didn't even think about it.

I am up to month 8. I was trying sooo hard to keep up with it, but life happened. I'm trying to get it done before it's no longer his birth month.

DD's baby book is finished. However, I purposely picked one that was pretty simple and only went to 1 year. I knew if it was a really in depth book, I'd never stay caught up.

I'm going to be an AW.. I not only have a detailed baby book up to date but also his year year completely scrap booked!!

The scrapbook has been the death of me but I have stuck with it and now I LOVE how much time and effort I have put into it.

I'm making our baby book myself. I was supposed to have it all done and printed before she was born so we could fill it out as we went. Yeah, it's still not all designed. BUT I have been keeping track of monthly info (height, weight, favourites, new things she learned) and all of her firsts in a document, so we can fill it in when I do finally finish and print it out.
