Silly PT question re: dirty underwear

How do you handle your LO's dirty underwear? DS is in underwear all day long now (yay!!!), but still doesn't have his BM's on the potty yet. (It's still early, this is only week 2 of full time underwear). The teachers dump most of the poop, but obviously the underwear is very very soiled. They send it home double bagged.

So how do you handle this? I find myself doing a small load of laundry now everynight b/c I don't want it sitting (after rinsing it of course), but there has to be a better way. Do you just rinse and leave it until laundry day? Is there something else I should be doing, like spraying it with something?

Sorry for the silly question. Just trying to get some ideas.

    There are two sinks in DD's bathroom, so I have rinsed out her underwear, sprayed it with Oxy, then let it soak for a few days until I'm ready to do that load.  Oxy spray is terriffic for getting out poop stains.

    I will rinse it and let it sit away from the rest of the laundry.  I'll either wash it on laundry day or put it with a small mid-week load if I have enough to wash.

    That's awesome Lil' dude is PT'ng it will be a huge help when your other little man arrives!

    I agree w/ PP-oxy spray rocks!  I do laundry twice a week and during the PT phase it was probably more often but that's b/c I have a touch of OCD. For the really messy soils, I threw them away.

    I have a little dishwashing tub inside the larger laundry room sink - I load it up w/ oxy clean powder and soak whatever needs it for days. I have let some of DD dresses sit in there for 4-7 days if she got chocolate ice cream on there. I swish the water around every day or so.

    I rinse out (and rub if needed) in our laundry room sink and spray w/ oxy spray also, but i just toss it in the dirty laundry basket in the laundry room til the next load.

    We have a utility sink by the washer and dryer. I keep a tub in the sink, and I fill it with water and a little detergent and let all the dirty underwear, pants, etc. soak until it's time to do laundry.
