33 weeks and low fluid (also posted on 3rd tri)

Is anyone else having issues with low fluid?  I have been having low fluid since I was 26-27 weeks.  I started at 10 and I am now at 6.1.  I have another u/s tomorrow to check it again and have been going once and twice a week for bpp's and nst scans which have been normal.  I am afraid the Dr. is going to want to deliver me if it gets much lower.

  • How did they know to check this? I haven't had an u/s since 18 weeks.

  • My sonographer told me that anything above 5 is still fine.  Good luck to your next ultrasound!

  • I had this with DD1 and it is progressively getting lower this time.  I was hospitalized with DD for two weeks at 35 weeks- until I hit 37 weeks.  Then I had a c-section and delivered a 6 lb 1 oz beautiful little girl.

This time they started me on baby aspirin to try to prevent that. I don't think it is working.  It is getting progressively lower.  The only other thing I can suggest is amp up your water intake.

    Good Luck!
