Cramping (? from 3rd tri)

I usually roll my eyes at questions like this, but I'm going to ask anyway. I will be 37 weeks on Saturday. Yesterday and today I have been feeling really crampy and have had pressure in my rectum since Tuesday. I never experienced this with DS. This pregnancy has been so different. I had the sharp vag pains but never the other stuff. I was 3 cm for 3 weeks, my water broke on it's own, and he was born at 39 weeks exactly. This time, I am 1 cm and 50%. I guess I'm just curious if anyone else is feeling this way? Are there any STMs that noticed this before they went into labor?

    He actually mentioned to me before that mild cramping is normal. It's not strong or at regular intervals, and the baby is moving around so I'm not concerned.

    I wasn't concerned something was wrong with the baby. I just think that the pressure I the rectum sounds more like a labor symptom.

    Cramping and pressure are totally normal, especially this late in the game.  I had predromal labor for 2 weeks before DD was born and this was what it felt like.  I wouldn't call my dr until you are having stronger cramping in regular intervals, but that's just me.

    I had pressure in the rectum toward the end of my pregnancy. It wasn't a sign of labor for me.
