Hi everyone,
I don't post really at all but have been on the bump since my first DD was born. Her name is Claire Isabel and we are having another girl here in the next few weeks. We have a few names that we've tossed around, but nothing that we absolutely love.
So I wanted to get your opinion on Lucy both my husband and I really like it, but for some reason I need to hear what other people have to say. Also we have no idea what a middle name would be so any suggestions there would be awesome! Our last name is Sibra (sigh-bra). Thanks!!
Re: What do you think of Lucy?
I really like Lucy and I think it fits well with Claire.
Lucy Elizabeth
Lucy Katherine or Lucy Kate
Lucy Josephine
Lucy Eleanor
Lucy Caroline
Lucy Margaret
Lucy Victoria
Lucy Amelia
I like Lucy.
Lucy Ann was what popped into my head first.
I know a woman in her 40's who is named Lucille but goes by Lucy and I think it ages really well on her. I know what you mean though, if I didn't know her, I would think the same..that it is a cute little girl name.
I really like Lucy!
Do names really not age well? I see people say that, but I can't think of a single person who doesn't seem the right age for their name. Their name is just their name, KWIM?
I like Lucy a lot. Not sure how I like the flow with your last name, though. The double "ss" sound kind of throws me off, but that wouldn't necessarily be a deal breaker for me.
Also, I find it amusing that your ticker says you're 108 weeks pregnant, haha!

Thank you everyone for your input. It's really helpful.
LOVE IT. It was our girl name of choice; Lucy Elizabeth. But, we found out we're having a boy. All along I had wanted a boy, but was slightly diappointed that we didn't get to use Lucy as a name.
I like Lucy.
