mommy hair loss

so my son is 4 months and i'm losing hair LIKE CRAZY.  seriously.  it didn't start until he was 8 weeks old or so but now its out of control.  When i'm in the shower I just put the hair on the shower wall (rather than letting it go down the drain) and remove it and throw it away when I get out.  Then if I'm straightening my hair even more comes out.  When will it end? Luckily my hair is very thick and it doesn't appear that I'm balding or anything but dang.

    Mine just started to tapper off, but I still get huge clumps coming out when I shower...but I am definetly starting to notice a decrease!

    I finally went and got a haircut. It went from bra strap length to just off my shoulders. I still end up with handfulls after shampooing, but it's more manageable since it's less than half the length it was before.

    My hair loss is out of control; way worse this time than with either of the other 2 LOs. I have long thick hair too, so we find it everywhere, I have to constantly wear it up or braided, and it totally feels like it's thinning :(

    I was thinking the exact same thing? I thought maybe it was due to the recent tugging and grabbing thanks to lo. Then, hubby mentioned a bit extra in the shower. I got a thinning hair cut today (I have a ton of thick hair) and hopefully that helps... I thought this was supposed to happen after birthing baby not now!?
