I'm a bit of a slacker and am just now starting to look for a church to have our daughter baptised in. My husband and I don't belong to a church and we are of different faiths so ideally I'd like something non-denominational/Christian. Do local South Jersey churches perform baptisms if you aren't technically members of their church?
I was not able to find one when I wanted to have my son baptized. Even the church I grew up in that my parents are still members of wouldn't do it. If you find one, I would love to hear it. Good luck!
I think maybe Haddonfield Presbyterian will. We are members. But I remember filling out the form and there was a question about being members or not. And I am fairly certain you do not have to be. Pastor Bill Getman is delightful.
Re: Need a church for DD's baptism
I think there might be a church on the Black Horse Pike near St Joseph's Cemetery that might do it.
