Who else hasn't and won't have another ultrasound since the a/s at 20 weeks? My doctor doesn't do any more but I hear all the time on here about fluid level etc being checked through u/s towards the end. How do you know that baby and fluid level are still good? Are they just assuming that if it was at a good level at the a/s then it's all ok? Just curious to see how other doctor offices work. TIA!

Re: Any more ultrasounds?
Kick counts are going great. She moves all the time. They just have me pee in a cup and check the heartbeat at every visit. It just makes me nervous not seeing her and checking things like fluid level for so long!
Usually they'll start questioning the growth of the baby or the level of fluid based on the fundal height (the measurement they take with the tape measure.) They'll order a growth scan to check these things if you're measuring ahead/behind by a few weeks in most cases.
Every office is different, though.

My doctor hasn't mentioned anymore......my pregnancy has been relatively low risk.
Every appt we do urine check, measurement, and check the heartbeat.
I'm fairly certain that I won't have anymore - unless doctor is worried about baby Jack's position or something like that.
I'll be going in soon for another 3D of the baby as a practice client for the new girl at the studio I went to a few weeks ago. Super excited for that since last time Jax was all cuddled up to my placenta and was being difficult.
As far as making sure baby's ok, typically as long as your urine, bp, size, heartbeat etc are ok, you won't be sent for another one.
I was surprised with my last pregnancy that they wanted to do an u/s at 36 weeks to confirm position, etc. But I was also being seen by a NP who had a student with her, so maybe that's why.
This time, I'm seeing a MW and there will be no more u/s.
I am HR, so I get them often. Apparently from this point forward, twice a week to check my AFI. I have GD, and a history of low AFI as well as being old and fat. Soooo...as my OB told me on my first appt- I am SUPER HR.
But not on BR! YAY!!
