birth control

According to my doctor, there are 2 types of people. Those who are on birth control and those who are trying! Getting my tubes tied in my csection just seemed so permanent, even though DH and I are 200 done.not sure if I want to go back on the pill it's been since 2008 or try something different. What are you all doing?

We'll use condoms for a while, and then when I'm ready to say we're done (DH is already at that point, and kind of annoyed I didn't get my tubes tied during my c/s), DH will get snipped. I refuse to go back on hormonal birth control -or- subject myself to more surgery. DH can take one for the team, especially since he's the one who is 1000% sure he doesn't want more kids.

We are talking about having four kids, so we are no where near done. However, I want to wait at least a year before trying for number two. When we start DTD we will probably use condoms because I am breastfeeding and cannot use the progesterone only birth control (it gives me migraines).

Well right now deployment is our BC. I'll pick back up with FAM when AF returns. If DH returns before AF then we'll use condoms at all times until I can chart again. If AF returns first then we'll use condoms until I've confirmed O each month. We're not done having kids but I definitely don't want another one too soon.

ETA: Can't do hormonal BC because it hurts my supply and honestly love FAM so much that I never plan to take hormonal BC ever again, even if condoms can be annoying.

When DH and I decide we're done, he is getting snipped. He is in full support of this idea since he believes it's the least he can do after everything women go through during pregnancy and child birth.

But until that day comes, I'm not sure what we are going to use for bc since I do not want to go back on the pill. To make a long story short, it all depends on how my body regulates after this pregnancy.

I love FAM, too. I just hate messing with my body with a pill.

we are using condoms until I'm done BFing, then going back on the normal pill (assuming my blood pressure normalizes, it is still high from PIH right now). I miss my clear skin.

I'm going to talk to my doctor about it at my 4 week pp

visit Monday. If we wait, we'll do condoms in the

meantime.

Iud people what are going to use. I'm thinking about paragaurd but I heard mixed reviews.

DH is likely getting a vasectomy and well use condoms for the first few months until we're certain the procedure worked. I'm also considering the paraguard and several of the drs st my ob practice have had positive reviews of it.

It took us 3yrs, fertility treatments, and a good deal of money to get pregnant with LO. So we have decided no birth control and if I get pregnant without medical intervention so be it!
