Refi/Doc Question

DH and I are re-financing and we have to sign a request for the bank to pull our three past tax returns. I have no problem with this but was wondering if this was a usual request? When we had our original loan, we had to of course provide payroll information, and I just don't remember the tax returns.

We just refied last week yes that was listed as possible docs they would review.

Makes sense, thanks! We're just happy to be re-fing! We switching our 25 year loan out for a 20 year and actually paying a little less per month, yay!

When we bought our house last year it was asked for- no big deal really. Banks are thankfully becoming a little more conservative in their lending practices.
