Ergo Sport $80/85 on Amazon

I really want the Ergo Sport because my husband is a big guy and it is supposed to fit him better, and I like the material.

(Yes, I know Amazon isn't an authorized ErgoBaby retailer--if I suspect it is a counterfeit I may send it back).

    It is sold my ModParent, not Amazon.  I wouldn't trust it.  If you go to their website, there are no Ergo's.

    Ergo doesn't list it--and a lot of their selling is second-party sellers. So, my fingers are crossed!  But I have also read articles that say that Ergo only sells the products that are up to their high standards--you'll never see them at Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Marshall's,etc. And because of that, the not-quite-perfect carriers aren't destroyed like they should be but smuggled out and sold as real Ergos (but are considered counterfeit) and still come with the box, DVD, tags, etc.

    So if you get a very real looking counterfeit it may not actually be the end of the world?  I dunno.  I'm just pretty happy about the price for now!!

     Getting a counterfeit is not good at all.  The buckles are not the same and the fabric is not the same.  Your could fall out.

    I never knew to look out for counterfeits. I bought the red sport a couple months ago from Amazon for $85. The seller at the time was Amazon LLC. I sure hope it is real!
