If my husband tried to go near my clitoris during labor I would drop kick him in the face. In fact, I can't imgaine what DH would even say if I asked him to do that.
That's interesting. The only one that really weirds me out is the Orgasmic Birth. But I can't be too judgemental about it because I am planning a natural hospital birth and I really don't appreciate people telling me "Oh...you're going that route" " Yeah we'll see what you really end up doing" "Oh but the drugs are SO nice"
So...I guess whatever works for her is fine and I learned something new today lol
I would like to see the research that "hospitals point to that shows infant death is Twofold outside of a hospital setting" because even though I'm having my baby IN the hospital I've read and researched a TON of information on home births and I've never seen such numbers.

I read those the other day, and definitely decided that none of those options were for me, especially the orgasmic birth... I'm pretty shy and can't imagine having orgasms with others around, let alone while trying to push the baby out. Traditional hospital birth for us please.
I have never told anyone about this other than my DH, but I did have one contraction while in transition that I would describe as orgasimic. I didn't actually have an orgasim but it was very sexual in nature. DH and I weren't doing anything to cause it, it just happened. I actually felt really weird about it afterward and didn't even tell DH about it till much, much later. But I have to say it was certainly the most pleasant contraction I had I could definitely see how it could work if you were in the right environment and sexually free enough. But still a little too out there for me.
