Greetings ladies.

I just wanted to say hello. I am a first time mom with baby girl due sometime in February. I know that doesn't help much but for some reason my u/s tech and doc cannot agree on a date. Tech says the 9th doc says the 20th. Has this happened to anyone else. To me a ten day difference seems a large time span.

    Congrats & Welcome! My 3rd pregnancy my due date was Sept 28th but every ultrasound starting with the dating ultrasound at 7 weeks showed me to be a week ahead. My due date was never changed but she ended up coming on her own 3 1/2 weeks early on Sept 3rd.

    Did you have a dating ultrasound or was this at your a/s? Early ultrasounds are much more accurate at determining the due date.

    The 7 week u/s Said Feb 10, mid preg u/s said 9 and doc measurements say 20. So just confused. I know she will come when ready but it is annoying not not having a solid EDD.

    Welcome!!

    I had an original due date of 3/3.  13 w, 6 d u/s put me at 2/20.  A/S put me at 2/18.  I'm keeping 2/20.

    Welcome and congratulations!  My MW and peri disagree on my due date by a week, and at my anatomy scan little boy was measuring ten days ahead.  It can happen, especially if your first dating u/s wasn't very early.  Besides, babies come when they want to come.  A due date is just a date on a calendar ;-)

    Yes, the date is pretty much a ballpark.  Based on LMP, my Dr is going with Feb 8th, but she has measured about a week later than that.  H is quite convinced she will be a Superbowl baby :)

    Hi and welcome to the board!! I'm in the same boat as you, they can't decide weather my date is the 17th or the 24th, I told them I was going with the 24th as my babies have a tendency to make a late appearance. But in all my ultrasounds and at every appointment my baby and belly measure right on Feb17th so we'll just have to wait and see Smile

    My due date is sometime between Jan 20th and Feb 17th! So 10 days is nothin' Wink
