My sister sent an idea off pinterest yesterday that I think I am going with. It's a couples costume, as a pregnant housewife circa 1960/1970s, and DH will dress up as a milkman.
We don't live in the US anymore and Halloween isn't celebrated here, but if I could, I'd paint my belly as Mike Wazowski... The little green one from Monsters Inc. I like both your ideas!
I am going to be a redneck guy with a beer gut. Going to have a pack of cigarettes and a beer on hand. not sure what else. keeping it as simple as possible.
For the kids halloween parade, I'm attaching black felt to an orange top, so my belly will be a jack o lantern. For trick or treating, baby limbs bursting out of my belly.
For school I'm being a carebear. I made the costume last year and now I think it will work even better cause I'll have a round belly to fill out the center part. For my party I'm being a skeleton. We made them and I'll have a skeleton baby on my belly and my husband is going to come up with something for his belly. My dogs are also skeletons so it became a family costume. I saw the idea either on here or on pinterest. Good Luck
I'm going as a pumpkin. I have a pumpkin romper, not drawing a pumpkin on my belly. LOL I was going to go as a bumblebee but the costume was all sold out.
I'm feeling really lazy and uninspired this year. So I think I may just buy some cat ears or a witch's hat and wear all black. :-)
This... I'm not a fan of belly painting, and haven't come up with any other cute ideas so I think I'm going to go with a hat/mask type of thing. We aren't doing any party or anything, just taking DS to a few houses for trick-or-treating!

I'm dressing up as a cat just because I already have the costume and don't feel like spending money. I want to tape pictures of kittens with DH's face to my belly, but we'll see if I get motivated enough.
