Anyone doing IVF here?

I have been posting on the IF blog but feel lost there.

I have a 3 1/2 yr old daughter and have been trying to concieve a sibling for her since she was 9 months old. After 2 yrs we went to see an RE and discovered we have MFI and it was a miracle we even had her, so blessed for that. Our only option now is IVF with ICSI. We are currently into our first cycle. I am on Lupron and starting stims on Friday.

Anybody else going the IVF route?

TTC#2 Since September 2010 with MFI - Me: 36 DH:35
11/12: IVF ICSI #1 - BFN
05/13 - Started IVF ICSI #2 - Menupor/Follistim/Trigger
6/17/13 ER - 7 Retrieved, 6 matured, 4 fertilized
6/20/13 ET - 2 transferred 0 to freeze
7/3/13 Beta #1 = 174!  7/7/13 Beta #2 = 414!
7/15/13 U/S #1 - Can't wait!!

    I am just starting with IVF this week too. My baseline ultrasound is on Friday. Fingers crossed this works for us. I'm pretty nervous but I'm glad to have the support of the board..
    Dx PCOS Three cycle of Clomid- BFN HSG- clear 6/09-Follistim and HCG IUI on 7/7/09 BFN 7/09- Follistim and Ovidrel IUI on 8/11/09 BFP! beta #1-342 beta #2-717 Joey was born on 5/5/10 Trying for #2 since 6/12 6/12- Gonal F and Ovidel IUI on 7/10. BFN 8/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel. IUI on 8/10. BFN 9/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel IUI BFN 10/22 Gonal F, Menopur, Ganirelex 11/4 trigger 11/6 ER 14R 10F 11/11 ET transferred one 4AA embryo beta 11/20! BFP Betas stop multiplying . m/c at 5 weeks moving on to FET if my numbers ever get back to 0!

    I am not doing IVF at this point, actually doing our first IUI tomorrow, but just wanted to say welcome and good luck to you!

    I'll be doing IVF#2 (#1 got us DD), as soon as I get AF (hopefully any day now).  Good luck with your cycle, it's really not that bad of a process, and once you are stimming it will start going by quickly.
    10/10: Married; 5/11: Dx: Blocked Fallopian Tube; 7/11: D&C/Hysteroscopy to remove polyp
    IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12

    We are currently on our first IVF cycle also. With DD we were successful on IUI #2 so it was a bit of a shock that it came to IVF this time.

    I am also currently on Lupron but have yet to hear when I will hopefully start stims (had a not so good monitoring appt Monday). Hopefully I'll get better news friday and will start stims shortly after you. Sounds like we may be cycle buddies. Good Luck!!!

    Me too!!!  Welcome!!!  This is my second fresh IVF/ICSI out first gave us our twins and our FET ended in a nonviable pregnancy and D & C surgery in July.  I am on Lupron currently, have my last BCP on Saturday, and go in for my baseline next Friday, Stims start November 3 for me!!!
    H: 34 dx Azoospermia due to CBAVD from CF  
    ME: 39 IS FINE!!!  DOR and poor AMH/FSH/LH

    I started BCP on saturday and will start injections on Nov 13. DS was born before my husband had chemo so we were lucky for that.  We are using frozen sperm with ICSI.  I am doing the lupron schedule so just starting to call around about med prices.  DH saw the med list last night and had a mini freak out.  He didn't realize how much medicine I would have to take!
    11/02/10- DS Born
    6/2011- DH started chemo for testicular cancer
    9/2011- Remission!!!!
    6/2012- IUI #1 natural with HCG shot- banked sperm (BFN)
    7/2012- IUI #2 natural with HCG shot- banked sperm (BFN)
    -changed RE-
    11/13/12- IVF #1 Bravella 225/Menopur 150/Ganarelix, triggered with Lupron. 11/27- 8R/2M + 2 mature next day/ 4 fertilized/ 2 grade III with 20% fragmentation transferred back on day 3. No frosties. BFN. Boo :(.
    Plan: New semen analysis in January and #2 IVF hopefully with fresh sample in March.

    Thank you ladies for welcoming me! It feels so good to have someone to talk to, I haven't told anybody. I have tried and people just don't understand. Everyone I know has 2 or 3 kids with no issues so I wouldn't expect them too.

    This whole process happened really fast for us once we met with the RE and he told us this was our only option, after TTC for 2 yrs we wanted to start right away but I am still in shock we are going thru it.

    I am an emotional mess all the time, can cry at the drop of a hat. Which is very unlike me. The meds list scared me but I just tell myself to take it one day at a time.
