UPDATE: Bad first u/s...

So, last Friday my betas were 2700. Due to not seeing the fetal pole or heartbeat, Dr had my betas checked again today and they are at 3500. Having them checked again the next 2 Mondays and then another u/s in 2 weeks. First, we were in beta hell at the beginning with VERY slow rising numbers. Now, u/s hell. Didn't even know that was possible. The Dr isn't ready to "throw in the towel" yet. I guess that's better than having a Dr that wants to do a D&C right away. We were very sad not to see a baby, but not shocked. Guess we just cross our fingers and toes and pray for a miracle. Thanks for the support ladies.

At least I'll be distracted with a lot of extra duties at work...a very experienced member of our department is leaving and I'll be picking up a lot of the slack. Hopefully I can stay focused.

Started taking Femaprin & Milk Thistle Aug '13, then added Metformin Sept '13......Surprise BFP 10/26/13!!!! The first time in 10 years that we got a BFP without infertility treatments!

    About me  2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!
