  Why are you moving?

  Two bedroom condo, two flights of stairs to get there, three kids. 

  Have you found a new house yet?
  No. The market is soooooooooooo slow. I feel like the only houses for sale have been there for months and months already. 

  How long has your house been on the market?
  Early August, so not quite 3 months 

  When was your last showing?
  Yesterday. We have yet to hear back from our agent about it, too. We typically get one or two showings a week.

  House details (bedrooms, baths, pros, cons)?
  It's a two-storey condo (second storey is actually a mezzanine). We have 2 beds, one bath. Pros: awesome neighborhood, the mezzanine. Cons: Itty bitty kitchen, we have carpet in the stairs as well as on the mezzanine and it's getting pretty old, our kitchen could use new cabinet doors.

  Why are you moving? our kitchen is teeeeeny tiny! We want our bedroom on the same floor as the kids. Right now, we're upstairs and they're downstairs. Which is also a PITA bc when they're napping everything wakes them up. Our taxes are outrageous too.

  we've decided that we don't love neighborhood living and want more land and less house 

  Have you found a new house yet?

  yes, we have a contract on a home contingent upon the sale of ours.  It's a 2 br/ 2 ba with basement log cabin on 21 acres 

  How long has your house been on the market? Since mid July

  When was your last showing?

  About a week ago, another tomorrow that I'm really optimistic about

  House details (bedrooms, baths, pros, cons)? 

  4br, 3 ba open concept with fll basement on 1.5 acres.  At the risk of sounding braggy, it's a really great house.  We contracted it out ourselves 3 yrs ago.   Our hold up on selling has been the unique location, 10 miles from town.

  Why are you moving?  Our neighborhood is super lame. Not family friendly and nobody talks to each other. And when we bought the house we knew we would want to move before/soon after kid #2.

  No. But we have a list we want to look at. 

  How long has your house been on the market?

  We aren't actually on the market yet. We are doing final touch ups and hope to have it on the market in about  a month. 

  When was your last showing?

  House details (bedrooms, baths, pros, cons)?

  3 (small) bedrooms,  two tiny bathrooms. The kitchen and living room are pretty great for a ranch house. But the rest of it is small and the basement is creepy.
