health care reform?

I was wondering if anyone has had luck with getting a breast pump covered by insurance. I heard it was an new law and when I just got off the phone with my insurance company they just told me that none of the plans that my employee offers, which is a hospital, cover the breast pumps? I thought this was a law? Anyone else know more about it,stipulations etc?

    The representative who I was speaking with verified my birthday and place of employment, without me telling her, so I am assuming she had my plan pulled up in front of her. Im really bummed, even though I know buying a nice pump is still cheaper than formula, just hoping I can physically breastfeed/pump, as I have no idea what to expect.

    Besides religious exemptions there are also exemptions for companies who are self insured and I know a lot of hospitals around my area are so that may be why as well.  Also it  could possibly be that your plan hasn't renewed yet since the women's health portion went into effect since the law only applies to plan renewals after 8/1/12.  You may want to have the rep clarify if you fall into any of those categories
