I just downloaded Ben Gibbards new album (lead singer for Death Cab for Cutie) and he has this very charming, sweet (acoustic) song titled "Lily." Since this is baby's name, and the guitar chords are easy, I'm excited to sing it to her! Anyone else found any perfect songs for their baby soundtrack?

Being a huge John Lennon fan "Beautiful Boy" will be on repeat in our house. Also, I was driving in my car listening to Coldplay's "Til Kingdom Come" the other day and found myself crying hysterically...hormones much? The lyrics seem to be so applicable to where we are in our life, especially after a previous loss.
Maybe we should make a January 2013 moms playlist.

That would be awesome, DH has been trying to come up with a good playlist, he bought the Baby Belly speakers (or whatever they're called) but we haven't used them yet because he is stumped on a playlist.

OMG, you girls will laugh. I read this post and was like...that's a great idea! I should check some of these songs out. Yeah -- I listened to the Coldplay song and the Celine Dion song and cried pregnant lady tears (while eating Halloween chocolate). LOL. The 3rd trimester emotional roller coaster has begun!

Yay for the Lilys! I think it is a beautiful name, but I'm a little prejudiced. I'm going to pull together the songs PPs have already suggested and ask others to add to it, so bring on the suggestions if you do a playlist.
