I guess I will have to only focus on TB for awhile. The state of WA is not only dealing with presidential arguments....it's dealing with same-sex marriage arguments.......and since that is my state, people on my FB are going CRAZY!

I don't think so and I have a good one! Our county has TWENTY TWO questions on the ballot this year, 7 of them are from the state including same sex marriage and a bunch about political fall out from political figures being convicted of/pleading guilty to crimes.

i had someone ask me if I was scared that my sister and her partner were going to convert Gator. I said "well one can only hope! I hope they convert her into a successful business person because they both are and careers aren't my forte. I hope they convert her into a snowboarder before her dad gets her on skis. And due to her blue eyes, I hope my sister's partner can help me convert Gator into a brown eyed beauty!" (As me, my dad and my sister's partner are the ONLY ones on both sides of Gator's family that have brown eyes, everyone else is blue eyed....and they like to give us a hard time about it!)

i cannot wait until the election is OVER!

That's disgusting! Good on you for coming up with such a great response. I probably would've sworn at the person and deleted them from my friends.

Elsa, that is terrible that someone actually said that to you. I agree that you should unfriend that person.
I know what you mean about the political crap flooding fb. I ended up getting so angry about it that I posted quite the rant. I need to stay away too.

Elsa, I would have cold cocked that b!tch right in the mouth. Especially after meeting your sister and seeing what a nice person she is. How DARE they say something so ignorant? Good thinking on your feet, by the way. I would have not acted so gracefully. There is NO excuse for acting that way.

BTW, Gator is already a brown-eyed beauty. So are you!

Ugh, this makes me want to pop-abitch for you! Same-sex marriage is on the ballot in Maine too, the only good that has come of it is my brother coming out to us, but I'm so sick of the signs and the ignorant people who live around me. The area I live in is stuck about 30 years in the past, which means everyone around me is against same-sex marriage, and it's hard to have a decent conversation with anyone because they're all so hateful. My brother has only come out to MH & I so I feel like I can't say anything to protect him, or explain why the things they say hurt me so badly without spilling his news, they don't understand why I care so deeply. It's frustrating,and I SERIOUSLY cannot wait for the election to be overwith.

Disgusting indeed! And I can't believe of all states, Iowa has kept same sex marriage legal since 2009. I mean, c'mon now! Although, there is some controversy over the judge and all, but still.

Haha.....Gator has piercing blue eyes...there is no mistaking she didn't get the brown eyed gene!

And yes people are crazy and ignorant. I just figured there is no point in discussing it because they obviously live in a bubble and have no idea what they are talking about.

DH and I are political nerds. I'm a little disappointed that I vote in a state that has already been decided and not in my home state where I could have a say in the Todd "legitimate rape" Akin election.
