What is your LEAST favorite christmas song

I would have to say for me its a toss up between "The Christmas Song" by Celine Dion and "I'll have a Blue Christmas" by Celine Dion.  They're both about as bad as her cover of "You Shook me all Night Long" IMO. 

Our local Christmas station has a love affair with Celine.  I do not.

    Christmas shoes - like I said on 0-6 - the last place I want DS to be when I'm on my death bed is picking out a nice pair of jimmy choos.  HATE that song - so not what xmas is all about...

    "I Saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus," or whatever that song is called.  I LOATHE that song and the horrible whiny voice it is sung in.  One of the prime advantages of not working in retail is not having to listen to the crappy Christmas songs.  I find that really any Christmas song written in the last few decades is incredibly annoying with repetition.

    My first thought was Christmas Shoes.  I haaaate that one.

    But Merry Christmas Baby is pretty awful too...

    I completely agree with christmas shoes.  It makes me tear up, and the tune gets stuck in my head at the same time ... all the while I hate the song! 

    I can just hear that little kids voice in my head :)

    "Last Christmas" (maybe by Wham?) is AWWWFUL! Christmas is my absolute favorite type of music and I listen to it all year, I just love it! And then "Last Christmas" will come on and it's time for country/pop/ANYTHING else!

    I just thought of another.  I don't know the title but it was recorded in the late 80's I think and its a collaboration to benefit Africa (I know, that's general).  "Do they know it's Christmas after all..."

    There's a line in there that says "Thank God its them instead of me."  What a horrible thing to say in a Christmas song.

    My least favorite line is "there won't be snow in Africa this Christmastime" Was there snow in Africa at some point? Indifferent (I know it's metaphorical, but it drives me nuts.

    Aside from that, I have Sleigh Ride song (It's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together...) I think it's annoying

     I also hate that line in the Africa song "Thank God it's them instead of you."  Yuck.

    My vote would have to be for "Dominick the Donkey."  HATE!

    I also find "Christmas Shoes" annoying, especially because I read it as an e-mail forward before it ever was a song!

    I am so glad someone else doesn't like "Little Drummer Boy"!  I thought I was the only one.

     I 2nd the old lover at the grocery store song.  It's one of the ones I turn off the radio for, no questions asked.  I think I'd rather listen to static.

    Can I put my vote in for The Beach Boys "Little Saint Nick" ?  I hate the line, "Christmas comes this time each year"   What a stupid thing to say!!

    Pretty much any of the Christmas songs, but only when sung by Elvis or a country artist.  I can't think of one I don't like when sung by pretty much anyone else.

    Ick. Little drummer boy, for sure.  And anything that's not one of the old classics, so anything written in the past 40 years or so at least.
