Moving ahead with fostering...

I've been sad and hurt about my m/c recently. But I think God is speaking to me and telling me that our child is in the foster system. DH told me he feels it too. We're pretty sure, that if in two months if we still feel this way that we will get started on our applications and home study. I just know that our son or daughter is waiting for us.

    Me: 32, DH: 45... TTC #1 since May 2010
    July - Nov 2011: Testing with OB... OB said everything looks good
    March - Sept 2012: Moved to RE.. 4 treatment cycles - responses of one or no follicles
    09.03.12: Diagnosed Poor Ovarian Response.. DE IVF only option
    Feb - Nov 2012: Pursued Adoption. That door slammed shut.
    12.23.12: Surprise BFP (first ever)... 12.25 - 12.31: Natural M/C

    I'm very sorry for your loss and the pain you're going through -- I can empathize.  I hope you take some time to heal, process your emotions, and go through the grieving process.  Once you've taken care of your heart and your grief, who knows what your decision might be to do.  Good luck to you! We're in the foster-to-adopt process right now ourselves.

    I'm very sorry for your loss.  Take all the time you need and prayers that all goes smoothly when you are ready to begin the process!

    TTC since March 2010, BFP #1 11.09.10, ectopic, m/c 12.14.10 (10w)
    Clomid + TI=BFN, IUIs 1-6= BFN
    Application for domestic adoption submitted 4/18/12, matched 8/12/12, DD born 10/31/12

    Oh sweetie I'm so sorry (( Hugs ))  I know how much it hurts, please take your time recovering, especially emotionally.  We actually came to a similar conclusion and decided to foster adopt as well.  I think it's really good that you're taking 2 months to think about it and heal - I'm so so sorry Sad
